Stephen Foster's 'Virginia Belle' - Tom Roush

Although written in 1851, Foster has not publish this piece until 1860. "Virginia Belle" is one of his many songs of sadness and loss of this bitter-sweet song tells of a family mourns the death of her little girl who died. It was not one of his most popular compositions, but I think it was one of his best.
